Last Friday, we had a “sneak peek” of our new space on the lower level (back side) of Colony West shopping center at the intersection of I-430 and Rodney Parham. (The store actually faces Breckenridge Drive). Representatives of the Colony West Homeowners Association joined us,as well as nearby neighbor Live Thankfully, board members, our contractors, staff, and a few friends.
The space is large and wide open – 11,500 SF in total with 10,000 SF of sales floor. It is bright and fresh and we can’t wait to share it with YOU! As you know, the ReStore is a major revenue source for us; it directly allows us to build more homes for low-to-moderate income families. Plus it’s a great place for all of us to shop. AND, ReStores keep tons, literally, of material out of our landfills… what’s not to love?
Of course, the question of the morning was “When will you open?”
We are as eager as you to do so! We anticipate the developer and contractor giving us the keys very soon. We will open to accept donations only for a few weeks while we stock and stage the store, leading up to a Spring 2025 grand opening. Get ready!
By the way, you may schedule a pickup anytime by calling 501.414.6815 or visiting our website, or continue to drop off your donations (and shop) at 6700 S. University.
Absolutely love the Rip Wheeler Jacket from Western Apparel perfect fit, amazing quality, and captures the rugged Yellowstone vibe.
