National DAF Day is Thursday, October 8—and this year, your generosity can go twice as far for local families.
National DAF Day is an opportunity to celebrate charitable giving through Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) and encourage donors to put those funds to work supporting causes that matter to them.
A Donor-Advised Fund is a charitable giving account that allows donors to contribute funds, receive an immediate tax deduction when eligible, and recommend grants to qualified nonprofit organizations—including Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas.
Your DAF Gift Can Go Twice as Far
This National DAF Day, there’s an added reason to give. DAF gifts made to Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a total of $4,000.
That means a $250 grant can become $500. A $500 grant can become $1,000. And together, those gifts can help Habitat continue building safe, affordable homes and creating opportunities for local families to build brighter futures.
