Women Build is Back and It Kicks Off Next Week!

I have to tell you—I’m really excited about what’s coming up next week. On Tuesday, August 25, we’re kicking off Women Build, and I would love to see you there.
There’s something pretty special about women coming together, stepping outside our comfort zones, learning something new, and using our collective energy to make a real difference for another woman or family in our community.
And please don’t think you need to know your way around a construction site to participate. You don’t! Whether you’re comfortable with a power tool or you’re not entirely sure which end of the hammer to hold, you belong here. We’ll have hands-on tool workshops to help you build your confidence before Women Build Week, October 13–17.
Each participant commits to raising $250 to support the build, but what I love most about Women Build is everything that happens along the way—the friendships, the laughter, the new skills, and that wonderful feeling of standing back at the end of the day and saying, We helped build that.

Then, after the work is done, we’ll celebrate together on October 22 at the Red & Blue Event Center.
