Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas is hard at work on our Vendor Build at 8801 Longacre in Little Rock, and we are calling on our community partners to help us bring this home across the finish line. This exciting project is not only transforming a donated house into a safe and beautiful home for a deserving family, it is also a high visibility location along a heavily traveled street, offering outstanding exposure for the businesses and professionals who step up to support it.
We are grateful for the many vendors who have already donated their time, products, and services to make this project possible. However, a few critical needs remain. We are still seeking in-kind donations of windows, roofing, fencing, and tree trimming/cutting services. By contributing your expertise or materials, you will not only showcase your work to thousands who pass by this site, but also play a direct role in creating a stronger, safer community. Will you join us? Contact Andrea Newton at andrea@habitatcentralar.org.

Reading about the Habitat vendor build really highlights how much community effort goes into creating stable housing, especially when volunteers and local partners come together to support families in need . It reminded me of a weekend I spent helping a local cleanup project, where even small contributions felt meaningful over time. In busy semesters, thoughts like finish my online class for me come up, but experiences like this show the value of actually putting in the work and being part of something bigger. Your post makes me smile.
