Half-Time Reflections from Coach Kelly

On Habitat time, January actually marks “half-time,” the beginning of the second half of our fiscal year. The best teams go into the locker room at half-time and reflect on what they’ve been doing right and what needs to be corrected or implemented next. That’s exactly what we’ve been doing.

I’m proud to tell you we “scored” twice in the first half, closing on two homes with qualified homebuyers, Sophia and Luis, for homes number 257 and 258! We have another home completed and waiting on the perfect homebuyer. Do YOU know a potential homebuyer? Please send them our way! We have four more homes nearing completion, expected to close by spring, and four others – federally funded – that have faced delays this fiscal year but WILL happen sooner rather than later.
