The position

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for general ledger accounting duties and reports directly to the Director of Finance and Administration.

No two days are ever the same! A typical day will include the following responsibilities:

  • Handle all A/P duties. Enter bills, pay bills, maintain positive vendor relationships

  • General ledger entries, i.e. daily deposits, credit card transactions, payroll

  • Assist with bank reconciliations

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements

  • Assist with general office administrative tasks

  • Maintain files and paperwork

  • Monitor daily emails, answer the phone, and follow up on vendor questions

  • Excellent computer skills: proven experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
