What does home mean to you? We ask our new homeowners that same question, and once one replied, “Home is where everything I love is inside - my children, my memories. It’s my safe-haven!”
At ReStore & After, Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas’s annual fundraising event, all of our partners understand the true meaning of home. ReStore & After 2017 is just around the corner and we couldn’t be any more excited to get to work with dedicated sponsors, volunteers, and of course the local artists who lend their talent and time to our biggest event of the year. Together this year, we can truly make a difference in the life of someone who simply needs a hand up to build their own safe-haven.
Over the past seven years, we have seen our annual event grow and expand in ways we never dreamed. At ReStore & After, members of the community take items from the Habitat ReStore and repurpose them so they can be auctioned off at the event. The creations of our friends and neighbors are truly impressive and reflect the loving hearts of the artists (of all skill levels!) who crafted them.
We are proud that every penny earned at Restore & After goes directly to building a home for someone who has qualified to be a homeowner and is prepared to realize the dream of homeownership. With a zero percent interest mortgage, Habitat gives a deserving person or family the ability to own a home and to build a better life. We want to help even more people achieve the dream of homeownership, and with partners like you, we can.
Please join us to build strength, stability, and self-reliance for another family. We would be grateful to partner with you as we continue to build dreams and change lives in our community through Restore & After 2017.
