Women Build Week May 6 - 13

Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas is proud to participate in Habitat for Humanity’s 10th annual National Women Build Week, from May 6-13. We invite Central Arkansas women to devote at least one day to help repair a home for a local single mother. Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program recruits, educates and inspires women to build and advocate for decent and affordable houses in their communities. Women have the capability and determination necessary to build Habitat for Humanity houses, addressing the problem of substandard housing in a concrete way so that families have safe, decent and affordable homes. Join us as we work toward empowering local women to address affordable housing for themselves, their families and their neighbors.

Here's how the work schedule is shaping up:

Where: 10519 Warren Dr, Little Rock, AR 72209 When: Saturday, May 6 - Remove old siding from house Monday - Friday: TBD Saturday, May 13 - Mother/Daughter Build Day!
