Ways to Give
We build because we believe that everyone, everywhere should have a healthy, affordable place to call home.
With long-term financial security, families have more to spend on medicine, child care, education, and other essentials.

ReStore Store & Donation Centers
The Habitat ReStores are our store and donation centers. We have locations in Little Rock and North Little Rock, and we need your unwanted items! ReStore sales provide funding to build homes in Central Arkansas.
We’ll pick up items you no longer need and sell them at deeply discounted prices.
Or you can drop them off at 6700 S. University Avenue in Little Rock or 2657 Pike Avenue in North Little Rock.
Property may be donated to Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas, and the donor will receive a tax-deduction for their gift.
Property that’s donated to Habitat becomes our build site and the future home for a Central Arkansas partner family.
PLANNED GIVING & IRA CHARITABLE GIVING
Consider leaving a lasting legacy for local families who want to build better lives for themselves and their children by including HFH of Central Arkansas in your estate plans.
You can continue your support in your will by giving:
A bequest in your will or revocable trust
A gift of life insurance naming HFH of Central Arkansas as the beneficiary
A gift of retirement benefits such as an IRA, 401K or 403(b)
A gift of a title to real estate property
A charitable gift annuity
A charitable remainder trust
You may find that you can make a larger gift than you ever thought possible by giving the remainder of your retirement account, pension plan or other retirement planning vehicle. This allows you to provide for your family first, then your charitable interests.
Talk with your financial advisor, attorney, or accountant to consider the best option for you.
If you are 70½ or older, you may also be interested in a way to lower the income and taxes from your IRA withdrawals.
An IRA charitable rollover is a way you can help continue our work and benefit this year.
Finding a New Tax-wise Way to Give
By using an IRA Charitable Rollover for giving, you are able to:
Avoid income tax on the funds transferred from your IRA
Satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year
Reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions
Give more to help support individuals and families in Central Arkansas
Know the Rules
Here are a few things to know about the IRA Charitable Rollover:
You must be 70 ½ or older at the time of the gift
Funds must be transferred from your IRA directly to a qualified nonprofit
The maximum rollover is $100,000 for a single person or $200,000 for a couple filing jointly
Gifts to Donor Advised Funds or life-income arrangements (such as charitable gift annuities) do not qualify
To get started, contact your professional advisor or IRA administrator. It’s important to talk with them about the IRA Charitable Rollover rules and how they fit with your overall plan. During this conversation, you may also inquire about naming a charitable organization as a beneficiary of your IRA, which can reduce the tax burden for heirs.
We could not continue our work without the support of corporations, faith-based organizations, and other groups who support our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
By giving generously of their time, treasure, and faith, our sponsors help future and existing Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance needed to build a better life for themselves and their families.
Homebuilding sponsors help fund construction, families’ pre- and post-purchase training/support, and other programmatic costs. Sponsors receive volunteer opportunities for the Habitat build sites. We also need partners for our Neighborhood Revitalization program and other programs!
We would like to build a sponsorship package to meet your needs!

MEMORIAL & HONORARY GIFTS
HFH of Central Arkansas takes special care of gifts given in honor of or in memory of loved ones. By making such a gift you are not only memorializing or honoring those who deserve recognition, but you are also investing in Central Arkansas.
Gifts in honor are made to provide special recognition for a family member, friend, or colleague, particularly for his or her birthday, wedding, anniversary, or volunteer service.
Gifts in memory are made to recognize someone dear to the donor who has passed away and to celebrate his or her life.
Just a few simple steps!
When making your online gift:
In the "Tribute Gift Information" section, select the type of tribute gift
Include the name of the honoree, and the recipient and address if you would like for them to receive a gift notification.
After your gift is processed, the person being honored is notified of the gift and who made it. Dollar amounts are not revealed, only the sentiment. For gifts in memory, the family is notified.
Or, if you prefer, send your gift by mail to 6700 S. University Ave., Little Rock, AR 72209 and include a note with the name of the honoree; and the recipient and address if you would like for them to receive a notification.
If you have any questions about giving a memorial or honorary gift, please reach out to our Development Team at Development@HabitatCentralAR.org or (501) 376-4434 and our team will be happy to assist you!
Donor-advised funds are a way to give to HFH of Central Arkansas that allows you to deposit funds at a sponsoring non-profit organization, community foundation, or financial institution, resulting in an immediate tax benefit.
Your sponsoring institution manages your fund, while you decide the size of your gifts and the charities and causes you benefit.
Receive immediate tax benefits.
Donor-Advised Funds are more affordable, less time consuming, and offer more privacy than creating a private foundation.
Donor-Advised Funds allow you to contribute more to your favorite charities and non-profits due to the tax benefits and the wide range of assets that are accepted.
How do I donate through a Donor-Advised Fund?
Contact your legal or financial advisor to donate through a Donor Advised Fund. If you currently have a Donor Advised Fund set up and would like to support HFH of Central Arkansas, contact us for more information at Development@HabitatCentralAR.org.
DONATE A CAR
